"Social Media - How to Use it Effectively for Ministry" When:  Thursday, January 31 at 12:00 NoonWhere:  Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4560 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach 23462Speaker:  Pastor Eric Dingler, Lead Pastor, Coastal City Church & Consultant at Rising Tide Church Revitalization ConsultingCost:  $30 or FREE for (Re)Inspire Network MembersLunch is included! With social media, you can now, more than ever, reach into the furthest areas of the world and genuinely connect people with the Gospel.  And, that furthest area includes the people in your neighborhood that never leave their house for church.  Our church has grown by 45% in engaged regular attendees in 18 months.  And all we have done is use an intentional social media strategy and one other thing to connect to that strategy.  We will explore the "one other thing" along with how to best use social media to reach people far from God with the Gospel.   About our Speaker: Pastor Eric Dingler has stepped into two ministries that were near closing and lead them to healthy and sustainable ministries.  He does the same thing as a consultant for other ministries and for organizations in the marketplace.  His approach is to market a clear vision using a compelling story.  Social media is the cornerstone to the most successful strategies he has created.  But for local churches, the social media strategy must include an offline element that is a key addition for the overall strategy to work.  Eric lives in Norfolk with his wife and their two kids.  They are in the process of adopting a sibling group, but in the meatime, they are hosting four exchange students and fostering one dog while it's owner is deployed.
